This weekend was my debate squads tournament. The only job I did not want this weekend was working ballot return. I had worked ballot return last year and hated it so I didn't wan to do it this year. Guess what job I got. Ballot return *sigh*. Well Friday came and I got out of class all day to get ready for the tournament. The first thing I did to get ready was me, my friend Cheryl, and a couple other people had to stamp envelopes. There were three stamps so I had one, Cheryl had one, and the other people had one. They would stamp the envelope than give it to me, I would stamp it and then give it to Cheryl. Well at least six times (no exaggeration) Cheryl would think I was done with an envelope and would slide it over to herself when really I hadn't finished stamping it so when she would slide the envelope out from in front of me and I would stamp the table. Lets just say there is a table up in my schools debate room with a big green blob of the words "Do not wait for a timekeeper". After that me, Cheryl, and our friend Madi (we were the three working ballot return that day) went to make copies. Ugh, I have never made so many copies in my life! We made at least 5,000. One of the things we had to copy was these thank you cards to give to teachers for letting us use their rooms. Well for one thing we had to copy them onto yellow card stock. The machine we were told to use did not want to take the card stock. After about an hour we had only like seven copies and we were supposed to make 100. We finally called our debate coach to ask her what we should do and so she told us to use the other machine in there. Luckily that machine worked. Well there were two cards on each piece of card stock so we had to use a cutting board to cut the card stock in half. Well it was taking a while and we were in the teachers lounge and the teachers had told us we needed to be out by lunch. Well lunch started at 11 and it was 10:50 and we were out of card stock and needed like 20 more copies. So Madi went all the way to the debate room on the other side of the school brought back more card stock, started the copies and told me and Cheryl to finish the cards and meet her in another copy room. Well me and Cheryl hurried and barely made it out of the room before the teachers came. Also in the process of getting the cards together and leaving Cheryl cut me with the card stock. You know what a paper cut is like, well think about it with card stock... and the cut was almost an inch long, OW! Well we got all the copies we needed done so I had to go put up signs around the school. Our tournament was so big we had to use the weirdest rooms. Like one you had to go through a closet to get to, three of the four corners of the little gym, the stage of the big gym, and other odd places. Not to mention we were using rooms in the church across the street. The tournament finally started at 3 that afternoon. Before I was supposed to go to the ballot return table I had to help the extemp chairs and co-chairs do room check for the extemp rooms. So I checked each room three times and made sure all the rounds had begun. Then I headed for the ballot return table. As ballot return my job was that when the judges were done judging they would bring the ballots to us, we would check them to make sure everything that needed to be filled out was filled out and filled out right. Then we would put the ballots in a box to be taken down to the tab room. Seems easy right? Well its not so easy when you have like 40 people waiting in line to give you ballots. Then if there was anything wrong with the ballots guess who would get blamed? Yep, ballot return. Plus, where like the HI chair only needed to worry about HI situations, and the LD chair only needed to worry about LD situations, ballot return was involved in the situations of every event. Also we had a sign on the front of our table that said "Questions? ask me!" so we got a lot of questions. The most asked questions were "Where's hospitality?" and "where's the church" because a lot of people didn't realize the church meant the church across the street. We had to stay at the tournament until every ballot was turned in. Friday night we were there until 11:30, ugh. Finally the tournament was all over around like 7 O' clock and I got to go home, but some were not as lucky. If you hadn't turned in your judging forms on time you had to stay and clean the cafeteria which is where all the debaters hang out between rounds. I felt bad for the people who had to stay and clean that up.
The whole weekend was stressful and caused me such a lack of sleep that Sunday I got sick. I had a little bit of a fever and just felt kinda off so I spent most of the day watching movies with my parents. Then this morning I was so sore and tired. My fever had gone done for the most part but I just felt so beat up, like someone had literally beat me up and I have a sore throat and keep coughing so I took some Advil and tried to get ready for school. Then my friend texted me that she was on her way to pick me up, so since me and my parents hadn't really said whether I would go to school or not I just said I would leave the decision up to them if I should go or not, but since I felt so bad my parents let me stay home, so yeah that's why I'm posting this in the morning during school hours, cause I'm home sick. Ugh I hate being sick, but hopefully ill be better tomorrow, but everyone is pretty much sure we will be having a snow day tomorrow so I may not be a school a whole lot this week.
So that's the story of my weekend, not a very fun weekend, huh? Oh well. Well I hope you all had a fun weekend!
God Bless

WARNING: This Blog Post Is Mushy AND Gushy!
As a kid most girls watched movies like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and the Little Mermaid. Whats one thing these movies have in common? Both are love stories. Growing up with these kinds of movies many girls start thinking about their very own "Prince Charming" or "dream guy". The guy of their imagination will change overtime but for the most part the guy stays the same. I like most girls had a prince charming, though he wasn't a prince. The whole idea of dating a prince seemed a bit over rated to me, plus not enough privacy. But I always imagined my guy to be charming. My "regular guy charming" was imagined to be smart, have the ability to make me laugh, handsome, sweet, respectful, chivalrous, with brown hair and brown eyes, and optimistic, plus many other adjectives. Also as time has gone on the most important adjective has been added, which is for him to have a good relationship with God.
This summer I became really good friends with a guy I'd known since 6th grade. We had gone to the same school and acknowledged each others existence but never really talked. Last year we talked a little more during debate but never really got to know each other well enough to become good friends. Then last summer we started texting and in almost no time after that we were best friends. We talked all the time. We came to find that we had a lot in common, like A LOT, a lot! so much that's its almost scary... Then a few days before school started me and my boyfriend of the time broke up, my friend helped me through that and when I had gotten over my ex me and my friend became even closer.
I had come to develop a crush on my friend. I had, had a huge crush on him last year before I started dating my ex boyfriend, and it was coming back. Then homecoming was on the horizon. I was planning on just going with my friends, then my friend asked me to go to the dance with him as friends. I was excited but I wasn't gonna push a relationship. I valued this friendship too much. We went to homecoming and had a GREAT time! Then that weekend me and him were talking about how fun homecoming was and were trying to see if we could come up with anything that could top it. Then the next Monday we got to school. Like a lot of days we have orchestra we were walking down to the orchestra room to put up our violins. He said "ya know I think I have an idea of something that will be better than homecoming." I asked what, with seriously no clue what was to come next. Then... he asked me to go out with. Shocker right?! Ok now I'm sure you were probably expecting that, but truly I wasn't at the time.
Now its February 27th and me and Drew (that's his name) have been dating for four months. Drew, is my "regular guy charming" but he's not so regular. He's awesome! He is exactly the guy I imagined when I would think of my dream guy. It's been four great months and I'm excited for the rest of the relationship.
I apologize for the mushy-ness of this but I felt this was a good story to be told :)

Movie Night
Movie night!!!
I woke up today at 1:30 PM so my day started pretty late. When I finally got out of bed and was ready it was 3:30 PM. We (my parents and me) went to pick up one of my best friends Michelle. We went to the movies. As my parents went to see The Kings Speech, me and Michelle went and saw The Green Hornet. Michelle loves super hero's. Personally I'm not the biggest fan of them, but I do like super hero's. The movie was actually very good. I didn't really enjoy all the language used but the movie over all was very good, and the car in it is sweet! Anytime me and Michelle go to a movie we always stay until the very very end of the credits. We like to read the names and find fun ones to say. Well one of the songs at the end of the credits was fun to listen to! It was in Chinese.... I think, but even though we couldn't understand what they were saying it was coolio! After the movie we met back up with my parents and then we took Michelle back home. After we dropped off Michelle, me and my parents went to get some dinner and then stopped to get a Redbox movie on our way home. We rented The Social Network. We are currently watching it as I am typing this. So far so good. There is a part where the guy in it gets an idea and runs out into the snow. Well at this time he's wearing sandals. My mom said "it's snowing and he's wearing flip flops!" and I started to think that sounds like fun! I mean not if you were in a hurry to do or get somewhere but just for fun! Like one day after it's snowed, invite some friends over to hang out and put on some flip flops and run in the snow. Cold, but fun! Maybe it's just me...
So I finished reading The Hunger Games and I'm currently reading Catching Fire. This is the first time I have ever been afraid to read a book. It's not that the book is scary, it's the fact that I have fear my favorite character is going to change. In the books I love the character Peeta and I want him to stay the way he is and I'm very afraid he's going to change and become a character I don't like. We I guess that's not up to me to decide now is it. Well I'm still reading it with encouragement from Drew who has already read it but I'm reading cautiously.
Well I don't have much to talk about today.

Now Everybody Put Your Hands In The Air, I Say Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
Have you ever had one of those days where your at school and your so tired and bored that the only thing keeping you awake is the song stuck in your head? I had one of those days today. It was all that kept me conscious and paying attention until my last class of the day, English, where we actually talked about something I found interesting. The song stuck in my head has been Yeah 3x by Chris Brown it's a catchy up beat song :)
My morning started off slow. My alarm kept scaring me every time it went off (and it went off more than once because I kept pushing my snooze button). Yesterday we had a snow day, so I just kept pushing the snooze button waiting for my mom to yell up my stairs that there was no school. She never did so after a while I had to drag myself out of bed and get ready for school. Thank goodness I didn't have to talk the walk of death into school today. Ya see since the beginning of this year my friend Marissa's grandma has been taking the two of us to school in the mornings (and my mom takes us home after school.) Well Marissa got her license in November and ever since she has been driving the two us to school which is fun and cool but there is one down side, the walk of death. Well that's what I call it at least. Ya see the student parking lot at school is really far away from the school and then once you actually reach the school you have to walk all the way around to the other side before you can reach a door that's not locked. The walk takes around ten minutes, and its extremely not fun to walk when its freezing cold out! This morning when I asked my mom if she thought they will have shoveled the walk of death my dad said "death is death what does it matter if it's shoveled?" lol. Me and Marissa have this plan that the school should build a tunnel from the student parking lot into the school that's heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. That would be very helpful! Well this morning Marissa's grandma took us because Marissa's mom doesn't want her driving in snow. Her grandma dropped us of at a close door that took us less than a minute to reach from car, yay! :)
My first class of the day today was Algebra. I hate math, ill just let you all know that now. I HATE MATH!!!! I'm not bad at math, I just hate it. Right now I'm in Algebra II and it's really not that bad. Much easier than Geometry, but I hate factoring. Factoring is evil, pure pure evil! Its like someone took Angelica from Rugrats, Voldemort, and the crazy Twilight fan girls and mixed them all together and made it a math subject! Oh wait no that's proofs in geometry, but factoring in algebra is a close second. On the bright side of the class today I got Laffy Taffy for turning my homework in early :)
my second class of the day was World History honors, but that's basically just a blur in my memory. I do remember though something about the draft and the Ming dynasty... I don't know. My third class of the day was Biology. That's always a joy (NOT!). Biology is the only class I'm taking that's not an honors class. Science isn't really my thing. And I swear they just keep teaching us the same things every year just no one cares enough to pay attention until college or weighted classes! Biology is always the class that seems to take the longest for me, one because it's my least favorite subject and two because its the class right before lunch.
My last class of the day was English II honors. I love this class for three reasons. One, I just like English! Two, My teacher is hilarious!!!! and Three, I love the people in there, one of my best friends Michelle is hilarious in there, and then my friends Cheryl and Sydney are in that class, plus my boyfriend Drew. Today we were talking about the American dream. We just finished reading Of Mice And Men and so now she's having us write an essay on the American dream. We have to ask our parents questions for homework and think it's fun when teachers give parents homework for once, lol. Here's some funny quotes from her today: "What do you think the American dream would be today? *Alex and Michelle raise their hands* I'm gonna call on Alex first because I don't know whats gonna come out of Michelle's mouth." and "I was watching, I hate to say it.... Oprah." haha :)
Today after school I made some bagel bites for a snack. Just so ya know bagel bites are much better done in the oven. Bagel bites + oven = YUM!!!! Bagel bites + microwave = Eh. Then I vacuumed the floors for my moms birthday party. Then I got Taco Bell for dinner, yum! My grandparents showed up around 6:30, we watched Wheel Of Fortune. Watching Wheel Of Fortune with my dad and grandparents, good times, good times! haha. Later my aunt and uncle and two of my cousin's showed up and we ate cupcakes my dad made. Then me, my mom, and my aunt played Michael Jackson the Experience, which is AWESOME! So fun, and a good work-out. We even got my dad and uncle to play. And we got through the whole night with only one injury. While my uncle was playing, my little cousin Claire walked up behind him and he accidentally hit her in the face as he was dancing, ouch, but she was ok, no worries! All in all it was a fun night! I love my family.
Well I'm worn out as I always am after family gatherings. I'm excited to get on that train to Sleepy Town. I don't know about you, but I love Sleepy Town. It's one of my favorite vacation spots! Goodnight everyone :)

Four Day Weekend
FINALS ARE OVER!!!!! YES!!!!!
Last week was finals week, the week that all high school students dread. A week where every class forces you into taking a test over every single thing you've "learned" since school began, that counts for a BIG portion of your grade. I, along with most high school students hate finals. I would have to say the hardest final I took was my orchestra final. My teacher told everyone not to worry about our orchestra final. So I didn't, then I got the test and I didn't know most of the answers, I think I knew like 2, and to top it off she made the test only 8 questions long, which she thought was doing us a favor but in all actuality it made it all worse, because then just missing one question brings your grade on the whole thing down. Also the last question pretty much nobody knew and then I heard her say "oh, I just put that on there to see if anyone would know it," I was so mad, I was thinking "hello!!! This is our final!!!" Well with some prayer and some good guessing skills I only missed two, so I got a B thank goodness! We graded the test in class and graded our own so a lot of people just cheated and changed their answers but I didn't, I didn't want to cheat.
Well we got a four day weekend after so that was good. My four day weekend was busy though. First of all I had a debate tournament. So Friday morning I woke up at 6:30 like every other school day and headed to my school to get on the bus. The tournament was around three hours away, and we had to take school buses. On the bus ride my friend Brenden fell asleep with his hands inside of his sweatshirt,
so I tied his sleeve in a knot.
When he woke up and tried to put his arm through the sleeve it was hilarious! Then when we stopped for lunch, there was snow on the ground so me, Drew, and Brenden got in a snowball fight! I won because I didn't get hit once and I hit both Drew and Brenden, Drew got second cause he got hit less than Brenden did. Drew might have won if it wasn't for the fact that he was being a good boyfriend and didn't aim at me. I appreciate that but I still say I won. Brenden aimed at me, he's just really bad at aiming.
When we got there the tournament was tough! My coach referred to as a "blood bath." I ended up getting a 4 and a 5 in my HI (Humorous Interpretation) and a 4 and a 6 in my Prose (Its on a scale of 1 to 6, 1 = good, 6 = bad). The rest of my squad didn't do much better. We ended up getting 4th or tieing for 3rd... I'm not sure which it was. The tournament was still very fun! I got to meet Drew's cousin Ian, and he was really cool. Very funny! You could defiantly see the family resemblance between the two them. When we got back to the hotel Friday night it wasn't so fun, though. I was rooming with my friend Cheryl and these other two girls. I was tired so I just wanted to read a chapter of my book and go to bed, but the other girls had other plans. I didn't end up getting to sleep until somewhere around 3 AM. Then later that morning at 5 AM the other two girls woke up and started getting ready. We didn't have to be on the bus until 7:30 that morning, uuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhh!!!!! Then they turned on the light and forced me and Cheryl to sleep the rest of the morning with the covers pulled over our heads :( Not fun.
The tournament the weekend before last went quite a bit better. I ended up making it to semi finals with my HI, and Drew and Brenden made semi finals with their Duo. Our squad as a whole even ended up getting 1st at that tournament. Plus my cousins Taylor and Tinsley, who live near by where we were, came to visit me and even brought me Burger King! Yum! Plus the hotel room I had was the best one I've ever had! In the room was me, Cheryl, my friend MoJo, and one of my best friends Emily! It was awesome!!!
Also this past weekend I went on a ski trip with my youth group. I love snowboarding and this is the only time I get to go each year.

These are from my first time snowboarding

Once again I had to wake up early to get to the church by 7:45 AM. We set off sometime around 8:00 AM. I ended up in a car with my friends Bailey, Sarah, Tori, Sydney, one of my best friends Rebecca, and Sydney's dad (who was the driver.) We were all squished in there but it was so fun! We played go fish and BS (which I say stands for blood sugar even though that doesn't make since with the game.) We even put this hat on Bailey's sock monkey which on him looked like a sombrero
We stopped at Taco Bell for lunch and me and Rebecca decided to give fake names with our orders just for fun. So we chose names of characters from this book series we really like called Kiki Strike. So she said her name was Kiki and I said mine was Betty :)

It was so fun!! A little later we made it to the church we were gonna stay the night at (which was in a town like right next to where I was for debate). We changed into our skiing/ snowboarding stuff and we were off. Once we go to the ski/ snowboard place we went in to get our rental gear (boots and a snowboard for me.) I actually own a snowboard but its not a real good one, really just good for messing around in the snow at home when we get enough. It felt good to snowboard again. I helped a couple of my friends learn how to snowboard, my favorite quote came from my friend Tori once after she fell she said "how can you learn to do this in only two years!" After a while everyone got the hang of it. I only fell really hard once, and though my tail bone hurt pretty darn bad I was ok. I'm not too bad at snowboarding except for the fact that I'm not able to turn left... lol. Once me and Rebecca were in line for the ski lift and these two boys deliberately cut in front of us as we were getting close to the front of the line. Rebecca said "thanks for cutting!" and one of the boys just said "your welcome" like he was all that. Once we got the top of the slope, I was sitting putting on my snowboard and Rebecca was waiting with me and the boy started going down the hill and well.... he stunk, total fail on his part. Me and Rebecca were laughing our heads off, not to be mean but just because we found the fact that he was acting like he was so cool and then fell like ten time while going down the hill. Every time he fell he would look up at us to see if we saw and we always did. After that we never saw the boy again, I guess he left. Once we composed ourselves we prayed for the boy just to get a better attitude and then we headed off. It was so fun and almost everyone walked away ok, other than being quite sore. Except we found out after we got back to the church and changed into our PJ's, that one guy in our youth group hit his head and had to go get a cat scan. He ended up being ok and returned to the church with us later that night. We did our praise and worship and our youth director preached. Then she gave us the option of either going to bed or playing a game so I went to bed. I was the first one to fall asleep. The next morning she woke us up at 7:00 AM to head home. Sore and tired we all piled back into Sydney's dad's car and about three hours later we were all back home. I spent the rest of the day napping on and off and watching TV.
Have any of you gone to McDonald's and gotten a McChicken or gone to Wendy's and gotten a spicy chicken sandwich? Well these are two things I was introduced to this weekend and I must say, I love them!!! For years at school I loved the spicy chicken sandwiches but I never thought to get one from a fast food restaurant. Well I now have a new favorite thing from Wendy's!

Dancing Pets And Mustache Clips
Cello!
Sorry I have not posted in a while I've had finals and debate. I hate finals! Bleh. Oh well. So it snowed here where I am! Yay! But even though I wore my PJ's inside out and slept with a spoon under my pillow I never got a snow day. I'm very doubtful there will be one tomorrow. So far I have taken 4 of my 6 finals. Journalism, Biology, History, and Orchestra. Tomorrow ill take my last two; Algebra 2 and English 2. So far my orchestra final has been the hardest oddly enough.
So today I finished the book the Hunger Games, this is my first time reading the series. For a while I wasn't too into it but yesterday I really got into it and I read like half the book yesterday and finished the rest. I really liked it! But I didn't like how abruptly it ended but that might just be because I'm dying to read more. I'm having my boyfriend bring me the second book tomorrow and I'm excited to start it.
So I was looking on the website of one of my favorite stores, Urban Outfitters, and I found some cool stuff I wanted to share with you:
I thought this stuff was cool :)
Well that's about all that's up in my world :)

Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da Life Goes On
Bonjour
You have no idea what I just said do you? That's right I took two years of French. Ok truth is I don't remember much french at all and I used an online translator for all that. Wanna know what it says? You'll just have to put it in a translator for yourself :)
Ok so I have these two songs stuck in my head!!! They have been stuck in there for a few days now. I love them. The songs are Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da by The Beatles (which is also the song of the day) and Jar Of Hearts by Christina Perri . Love love Love LOVE!!!! <3 And speaking of my Song Of The Day, did you all see my song for yesterday? I loved it! and if you love The Sound Of Music you will have loved it too, and if you do not love The Sound Of Music I don't understand you at all. Just in case you didn't see it, click here. All I can say is lay ee odl lay ee odloo :)
So last night at church Drew said he was gonna wear those glasses that he got from the 3D movie we went to on New Years Eve to school today and said I should wear something "different" as well. So I thought about it. Well ya see I always straighten my hair. I have straightened my hair pretty much everyday for over 5 years. So I figured hey I just won't straighten my hair! I forgot how much I dislike my hair natural. Its fluffy. Fluffy is generally one of my favorite adjectives along with shiny, sparkly, and pink. But fluffy is not one of my favorite adjectives when it comes to my hair. I went well enough, I guess. I got a couple compliments, a couple strange looks, and one guy saying my hair reminded him of white gold... that one was weird. Here's a pic,
Eh...
Also today I made a new playlist for my ipod entitled A Beatles/ Elvis experience. Its all of my Beatles and Elvis songs together in one playlist. If you don't know The Beatles are my favorite band EVER and Elvis is my favorite singer that's not in a band. The playlist has 145 songs on it. It will take 6.4 hours to listen to the whole playlist continuously. I really love the Beatles and Elvis (along with Queen, ELO, Patsy Cline, Beach Boys, and others). My favorite Elvis song is Return To Sender . And just to clarify, I'm talking about Elvis Presley. I love Elvis! I spent last Sunday night at my friend Emily's house watching Elvis movies and talking about how cute he was. If Elvis was younger, not famous, and still alive (R.I.P) he would give Drew a run for his money haha. Also have you guys heard the song Gink Nus by The Beatles? If not listen to it, its trippy. It's Sun King backwards!!!! Weird stuff, man!
I don't know about you but personally I prefer original versions of songs over remakes. And I feel some songs should just NOT be redone at all. I had this personal feeling about all Beatles songs until I saw the movie Across The Universe, bad movie in my opinion, I did not enjoy it at all, but the soundtrack is AMAZING!!! The movie's a musical and all the songs are Beatles songs and they actually do a very good job. Know I generally feel no one can do the Beatles better than the Beatles but I have a delima with that statement and this soundtrack. There are two songs from it I feel they my have done better than the Beatles, but I can't decide for sure. The two songs are I've Just Seen A Face and Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite did the Beatles do it better or did Across The Universe do a better job with I've Just Seen A Face (which I love this video BTW) and Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite ? Comment and tell me what you think :)
With all this talk about music I thought to ask have any of you heard the song Crazy Little Thing Called Love? It's by Queen. I love that song, I remember growing up and hearing my mom playing this song. Well we are attempting to play it in my advanced orchestra class. We just got it two class periods ago. I kinda want to just sing instead of play every time we play it. Luckily my friend Emily sits right next to me and my friend Sydney sits right in front of us, so we sing a lot during class :)
Speaking of my friend Sydney, she started a vlog (video blog) with 4 of her other friends that you guys should check out at http://www.youtube.com/user/TheYarmy :) Also you should check out http://theloudthoughtsofish.blogspot.com/ which is one of my best friends, Michelle's blog. I love Michelle and Sydney, their awesome possum :) Me and Michelle have been writing notes back and fourth addressing them to "Shelly" and "Blondie" which is out nicknames for each other. As you probably already guessed she's Shelly and I'm Blondie. Also if you didn't know there's this new word called "Miva" its a hybrid of the words "movie" and "pizza" haha. I almost accidentally wrote that instead of movie and pizza in a note today :)
One last thing I would like to say, puppies = pure cheer! Today after school I saw a girl with this small, brown, fuzzy puppy and it was SO CUTE!!!! Every time I see a puppy I go into this sort of trance where all I can say is "look at the puppy!" "How cute" and "AWWWWW!!!!" haha I love puppies :) Well sorry for the length of today's... I kinda rambled. Well thanks for reading it all if you made it this far :)

Where For Art Thou Cinderella Shoe???
I hate this time of the school year. Finals week is tomorrow and this is the busiest time of the year for debate. I so thankful for my friends and family and Drew being there to keep me grounded! I'm a pretty decent student, all A's except one B but I kinda suck at taking tests in certain subjects. Today though in my Biology class my teacher called everyone up to show them their grades and talk about what grade we want to be making and what we will have to get on the final to achieve that grade. When she called me up all she said was she told me my score and then said "just don't fall asleep during the final and you'll be fine, actually even if you do fall asleep you'll probably do well anyway knowing you." (Maybe not her exact words but close, I'm paraphrasing). I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or be a tad offended...
Today I got to skip my last block class (English Honors) to go to my old middle school with my debate squad as a recruiting sort of thing. It was pretty fun even though it wasn't as fun as when we went last year just because I knew more of the 8th graders last year. I knew a couple this year.
I would just like to point out that I am currently wearing my favorite PJ pants (Orange with the game Operation on them) and its de-stressing me. My study hall teacher gave me a thank you card that said "give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world" and I believe that whole heartedly but I also think it works with "give the teenager the right pair of PJ pants and they can conquer the world" but maybe that's just me :) And just FYI I'm still looking for "the right pair of shoes" my pink high tops are close but I would have to say I still haven't found my Cinderella shoe. Be on the look-out and tell me if you find your Cinderella shoe, id like to hear about it :)

Crescent Dragonwagon And The Day Of Many Phone Calls
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! As you can probably tell by my "grrrrrrrrrr" I'm frustrated. For my debate squad I do an event called storytelling. Its a lot like what it sounds. I have to tell a children's story in my own words and it must last 8 to 10 minuets. Well I did this at one other tournament and advanced to semi-finals. Today when I check the roster for what I was doing the tournament coming up this weekend I was entered in 3 events which can't happen. I can only do two. Personally I wanted to do my prose and my HI which I like a lot more than storytelling, but because I advanced last time I did my storytelling my coach wants me to do it *sigh*. So tonight when I got home I got online to check for the book at my library because I don;t own it and that's how I got it last time. Well last time they didn't have it and had to order it from somewhere else and it took like over a week, well I don't have a week this time I have until Friday. So just like last time the library didn't have it. I called the library just to double check. Still no. So I called Barnes and Noble and Borders, neither store had the book. So I called the local university's library, nope. So I was freaking out a tad... a bit... ok quite a bit!!! So I was gonna text my coach and tell her I couldn't do my storytelling. Only thing is I'm afraid of her. So I decided before I give her reason to kill me I would try and type out as much as I could remember. Luckily I pretty much remembered it all and in storytelling you tell the story in your own words so I don't have to have the words exactly right. phew!! So I called the library back to ask them to order the book from another library out of town and have it shipped there so I can get it for another time I need to do it. The lady was very nice, looked it up, and said "ok looks like I can order that for you from the university, we'll call you when it comes in." I said thank you and hung up the phone then very loudly (my parents were not home at the time) I yelled "THE UNIVERSITY!?!? I CALLED THE UNIVERSITY!!!!!!" Grrrrrrrr. So now I officially hate the book I Hate My Brother Harry by Crescent Dragonwagon. Yes Crescent Dragonwagon is the name of the Author. Oy! I chose that book because my coach said it would be and I quote "perfect for me." I don't see how, the whole story is about a little girl who hates her brother, I'm an only child!!!! Why couldn't I have done Little Red Riding Hood or something? Oh well. What's done is done. And now I will go read The Hunger Games and go to bed. Goodnight.

A Look Inside My Room
Its what you've all been waiting for!!!! A look inside the room, of the girl behind the blog!!! Oh.... So that's not what you've been waiting for? Oh... well.... here it is anyway. It doesn't match the awesomeness of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but it may still be found interesting by some :)
This is Mr.Stuffy Wuffy but I call him Stuffy for short. Stuffy is one of my very best friends!!! He's also my oldest friend. I got him from the hospital I was born at. He's a little more old a worn than back then, but he still looks pretty good to me. When I first got him he was a darker shade of brown, fuzzier, and had a bright red ribbon rapped around his neck. When we first got our dog Milo he ripped off Stuffy's red ribbon and even ate part of his tag... Milo's not allowed around Stuffy anymore. I have loved Stuffy for years. For years I refused to sleep without him or I would cry all night. Over the years I've bought Stuffy clothes and accessories (skateboard, backpack, bear ipod, etc.) at Build-A-Bear. This is my favorite outfit of his: Overalls and a Cardinal's T-shirt. My family's ALL about overalls and Cardinal's baseball.
This is my spoon collection! Yes that's right I collect spoons. You can find these little collectible spoons at tourist places everywhere!!! I started collecting spoons after my grandma died. She had the collection which my mom would always bring her spoons for from places we would go (my mom used to be a travel agent so we traveled a lot). When she died my mom gave her collection to me and I just started adding to it :) And yes next to it is a Rubik's cube, Tiger, an alien, and bubbles.
This is the bulletin board I have up in my room. On it I have pictures of me and my friends, stickers from places I've been to, posters from shows Ive seen, SOME of my button collection, my NFL (National Forensics League) certificate, and other little things.
This is a poster for the band VOTA. I saw them once at this thing my friend invited me to. I got the band to sign it!
This is a portion of my shoes. The rest of my shoes are all randomly spread around my house. In there I have 4 of my 5 pairs of converse. I love converse :) I have a blue pair, a gray pair, a black pair, a brown pair, and a pair of pink high tops! And yes those are posters of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Taylor Lautner, Michael Jackson, and Nathan Kress. My closet is covered in posters!
I love my pink high tops very much!
My movie collection! Full of hits such as A Hard Days Night, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Cheaper By The Dozen, Ferris Bullers Day Off, Grease, Harry Potter movies 1-6, Toy Story, and Twilight. Sadly though I do not own my favorite movie which is Pretty In Pink.
My book hall of fame! I have other books but these are my favorites. Theres the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the Emily Windsnap series, the Twilight series (don't judge me their really good books its just the fan girls that suck), the Junie B. Jones series, Oliver Twist, Kiki Strike and the Shadow City, some Shel Silverstein books, Love That Dog, my choir tour journal, and my favorite book The Host.
This is my collection of VHS movies. I have almost every old Disney movie you can think of. With classics like Peter Pan, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid and others. I also have episodes from Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and some old McDonald's story's my grandma gave me :)
my stack of old albums. I like going to album shops :) This is one my mom found for me cause its my favorite movie. According to the guy working there its pretty rare. I also have Beatles Abby Road, Queens Flash, and an Electric Light Orchestra Album.
This is my ihome and my ipod. My ipod has a skin it on it of the painting Stary Night. The song I had playing was You Belong To Me by Patsy Cline. It's my favorite song :) The white ipod sitting next to it is my old ipod that likes to not work sometimes, which is why I got the new one.
Well that's a small look at my room. Hope you liked it, and if not, sorry.
God Bless
Now you may be asking yourself "what is that!?!?" Well that my friends is a cannibalistic banana. A one of a kind. Now you may be thinking I'm nuts, and I very well may be but I love my cannibalistic banana. It was made and given to me for my 15th birthday by my friend Sydney. I was a joke we came up with one day. I personally feel Sydney is awesome for making this :) Next to my cannibalistic banana is my Buzz Lightyear bear, I made him last time I went to Build-A-Bear :)
This is my piggy bank. His name is Pig as you can see by the tattoo below his ear. Not a very creative name but it suits him. As you can see Pig is orange and has purple spots all over him. He's not sick, that's just how I made him. You can also see Pig has a lips mark on his cheek, he's quite the ladies man ;)
I don't know about you but I LOVE the Beatles. If your any kind of fan of them you should know the song Penny Lane. I bought this road sign at this Beatles show I went to see a while back. I have yet to actually hang it up in my room but I'm still trying to find the right spot. My rooms in the Attic of our house so my walls are kinda slanted.
